For over 25 years, fine artist Lady Deirdre Dyson has designed award-winning bespoke carpets and rugs using the finest, luxurious materials.
Made to order and hand-knotted in Nepal by Tibetan artisans, practiced in this ancient skill, each creation is 100% unique. Deirdre has an extensive library of contemporary designs available to view on our online Design Library or at her gallery space on the King’s Road in London’s Chelsea Design Quarter or at her St Germain gallery in Paris.
Deirdre Dyson and her team offer a complete custom rug design service. We pride ourselves on our personal approach and each rug we make is tailored to our client’s exact requirements whether commercial or residential. All Dyson’s bespoke designs are made to order from a palette of over 5,000 colours using natural materials; Tibetan wool, pure silk or a combination of both and each hand knotted rug is Goodweave certified.

Ribbons are a signature motif in Deirdre Dyson’s carpet designs and FALLING RIBBONS has been a long time client favourite, as demonstrated in this residential project by interior designer Charlotte Lane Fox.

I first fell in love with Deirdre Dyson’s rugs when I saw “Fans” in the Showroom window from the top of a double decker bus on the Kings Road. Whether it is “Wind Swept”, “Falling Sticks” or “Melting Sun”, they evoke movement and poetry. I feel great joy when I get home and am greeted by my own version of “Scatter”.

Our journey started at the V&A over 20 years ago when we bought the "Oak Leaf" design as part of an exhibition. Soon after we commissioned 'our colour take' on "Windows". Fast forward to now, we bought the impressive "Love Letter" rug for our new home on the river in Teddington. We particularly love Deirdre's art as well picking up and following through her inspirational rug designs. Her work feels very natural, humble and elegant.
