All Deirdre Dyson rugs are designed here in Britain by Lady Dyson and custom hand knotted to order in Tibetan wool and/or pure silk.
Each design can be recreated in any size or colourway required in our standard pile height of 15mm or for hanging or larger carpets a lower pile height of 10mm. Each carpet contains 100 individual knots per square inch (the size of a postage stamp) which can increase to 200 knots per inch for finer, more detailed designs and each is hand knotted to order by our Nepalese craftspeople using age old techniques and hand made tools.
