Ribbons are a signature motif in Deirdre Dyson’s carpet designs and FALLING RIBBONS has been a long time client favourite.
Interior Designer Charlotte Lane Fox incorporated a pair of FALLING RIBBONS carpets in a recent residential project, in a particularly pleasing silk palette of coral, sage green and cornflower blue, the resulting rooms are spectacular.
As is often the case, the simpler a rug design looks the more complex it really is, finding the exact tonal mix of lighter and darker shades of each ribbon colour and the complimentary colours of corresponding ribbons is essential to the success of the finished ribbon designs. Deirdre Dyson and her team take time to select these colours with clients to ensure the finished rug is full of life, vibrancy and movement and Charlottes iteration for this London townhouse is a perfect example of this timeless design.
