From the Mosaic Collection. A mosaic version of OakLeaf Originally designed for the V&A Museum’s International Arts & Crafts Exhibition 2005. Deirdre Dyson says ‘The British oak tree has a particularly decorative and distinctive leaf and the tree displays its glorious gold and rusty leaves in the autumn’.  One of Deirdre’s more traditional designs, with the application of old gold silk giving it a vintage feel.

All Deirdre Dyson rug designs are customisable and can be scaled up or down into your specified shape and size.

All Deirdre Dyson rugs are designed in Britain by Lady Dyson and made from Tibetan wool and/or pure silk. Each design can be recreated in any colourway, in our standard pile height of 10 mm or a lower pile for hanging. Each carpet contains 100 individual knots per square inch (the size of a postage stamp). Knot count can be increased for finer, more detailed designs and every rug is made to order by our skilled Nepalese craftspeople on the loom, using age old techniques and hand made tools.

Our hand knotted carpets are Goodweave certified ensuring no child labour is used in the supply chain and that the welfare of our weavers and their families is guaranteed.
