Deirdre uses fourteen different pinks and reds from across the spectrum in alternating wools and silks to create a visually dynamic lipstick-hued carpet hand knotted in wool and silk. Stripes of silk light behind the design, shining through several reds and creating even more varied reds as it passes through.
