SEAWASH is a masterclass in grading, originally created by Deirdre in two variants – SEAWASH (BEIGE) and SEAWASH (INDIGO) – which perfectly replicates the wash of sea on to shore. The addition of 100% silk adds essential fluidity as the carefully selected colours undulate into each other.
100% Hand knotted, this contemporary rug would be the perfect addition to any room in your home but would work particularly well in a sitting room, or particularly for a 100% silk carpet the bedroom, where the feel of silk underfoot is unsurpassed.
All Deirdre Dyson rug designs are customisable and can be scaled up or down into your specified shape and size, including runners.
All Deirdre Dyson rugs are designed in Britain by Lady Dyson and made from Tibetan wool and/or pure silk.
Each design can be recreated in any colourway, in our standard pile height of 10 mm or a lower pile for hanging. Each carpet contains 100 individual knots per square inch (the size of a postage stamp). Knot count can be increased for finer, more detailed designs and every rug is made to order by our skilled Nepalese craftspeople on the loom, using age old techniques and hand made tools.
