BULRUSHES is a perennial favourite with clients that really captures the imagination, Deirdre’s colour selection for the ‘water’ background is perfect and the added lustre from a wool/silk mix only adds to the watery effect whilst the reflecting bulrushes add a symmetry and depth.
100% Hand knotted, this contemporary rug would be the perfect addition to any room in your home but would work particularly well in as a focal point in a sitting room, hallway or a fabulous calming addition to a bedroom.

All Deirdre Dyson rugs are designed in Britain by Lady Dyson and made from Tibetan wool and/or pure silk. Each design can be recreated in any colourway, in our standard pile height of 10 mm or a lower pile for hanging.
Each carpet contains 100 individual knots per square inch (the size of a postage stamp). Knot count can be increased for finer, more detailed designs and every rug is made to order by our skilled Nepalese craftspeople on the loom, using age old techniques and hand made tools.
