DEIRDRE DYSON’S IMPULSE – FINALIST IN THE SBID PRODUCT DESIGN AWARDS 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Deirdre Dyson’s IMPULSE hand knotted rug design has been shortlisted for the SBID Annual Product Design Awards (Society of British Interior Designers).

Part of this year’s Graduation collection, IMPULSE is hand knotted by our Nepalese weavers in the finest Tibetan wool and pure silk. As with all Deirdre Dyson hand knotted carpets, is Goodweave certified.

Deirdre uses alternating sized silk bars graduated in tones ranging from bronze to white gold, adding an opulence to this very contemporary carpet design. IMPULSE and its partner design, INGOTS bring an unexpected dimension to the graduated theme of the collection which includes seven ombre-style carpets centring on colour transitions in more traditional graded contexts.

IMPULSE is a versatile and easily scalable design, a twist on the more traditional bordered carpet and can be custom made in any size or colourway required.
